Campus Missions Training

Gain valuable experience in a residency program that matters.

Campus Missions Training (CMT) is a residency program for young adults who want to go into campus ministry and/or foreign missions.

The secular college campus is the most strategic and important mission field on U.S. soil. Unfortunately, it is often forgotten and neglected when it comes to sending, funding, & equipping. Talented, intelligent international students from all over the world bring all of the nations to us. You don't have to cross borders to be immersed in other cultures or to share the Gospel with those who have never heard it.

Using our big blue house as your home, learn the power of hospitality. You will be trained and educated in apologetics, world religions, world cultures, street-style evangelism & outreach, Discipleship-Making Movement (DMM) principles, leading Discovery Bible Studies (DBS) and prayer ministry. Do all of this while serving our campus ministry community in discipleship.

Denton is home to:

  • University of North Texas (UNT): 46,000+ students, more than 7,000 international students

  • Texas Woman's University (TWU): 17,000+ students

  • North Central Texas College (NCTC): a community college with two campuses nearby in Denton & Corinth.

Program expenses will be covered by the candidate either through a local part-time job or fundraising, a skill worth cultivating as you will need it in both missions & campus ministry.
